The Energy Department on Monday said it has named three new members to serve on its Oak Ridge Environmental Management advisory board for two-year terms. The new members of the Oak Ridge Site Specific Advisory Board (ORSSAB) are Martha Deaderick, a retired teacher from Kingston, Tenn., who worked for the Oak Ridge city school system from 1975 until 2004; Mike Ford, a Knoxville, Tenn., resident and technical sales representative for The Garland Co., which makes building and roofing envelope materials; and Dennis Wilson, a retired technology manager who lives in Rockwood, Tenn. Those three members can serve on ORSSAB for up to three terms. The board includes up to 22 members and, per DOE, “provides independent advice and recommendations to the U.S. Department of Energy Oak Ridge Environmental Management Program” in Tennessee.
