Melanie Kent has been named director of human resources at the Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge Office. Kent began her federal career in 1979, and she has been chief of the Federal Human Resources Branch at the Oak Ridge Office for the past 14 years. She has a degree in business management from Tennessee Technological University.
NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
