IN THE INDUSTRY

Washington Closure Hanford has named Kliss McNeal as its new Director of the Environmental, Safety, Health & Quality, and Closure Manager. She replaces Bruce Covert, who has accepted an offer to serve as the URS lead manager with Dounreay Site Restoration in the United Kingdom, according to Washington Closure. McNeal last served as Executive Director of ESH&QA at the Sellafield site in the United Kingdom, and her previous experience also includes having worked in several positions at the Idaho Cleanup Project, according to a release issued yesterday. “I have no doubt that Kliss’ experience and history of success will be a great fit for our River Corridor team as we tackle the challenges that remain on the River Corridor,” Washington Closure President Scott Sax said in the release.
