WCS CEO Steps Down

By ExchangeMonitor
Waste Control Specialists CEO William Lindquist is stepping down, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing yesterday from WCS parent company Valhi Inc. Lindquist resigned “for health reasons and a resulting desire to transition to his eventual retirement,” the filing said. Lindquist has been with WCS since 2007, and helped oversee the opening of the company’s disposal facility in Andrews, Texas, which began accepting waste in 2011. WCS declined to comment on the news, and no replacement has been identified yet.
