Voss Stepping Down as Head of Waste Management Symposia

By ExchangeMonitor

James Voss will step down as managing director of Waste Management Symposia at the end of June.

The organization helms the annual Waste Management Symposium, which is widely considered a must-attend show among nuclear-cleanup experts in industry and government.

Voss broke the news late Tuesday in a widely distributed email. The text of that email follows:

Dear Colleagues,

This note is to notify you that I am stepping down as Managing Director of WMS at the end of June.

My deepest thanks go to the PAC members and supporters for providing the leadership that has brought the WMS conference to its global position of excellence. I thank the staff for their diligence and dedication. Thanks also to the many exhibitors and sponsors for their continued participation and support. Thanks also to all who have participated in the WMS conferences. Finally, I thank the Board for allowing me to serve in this capacity for nearly 15 years.

WMS has been a part of my professional life for over 40 years. I wish continued success to all.
