USEC STOCK CONTINUES TO DROP

Continuing a drop that followed an announcement questioning future financing for the American Centrifuge Plant, USEC’s stock dropped close to 8 percent yesterday to close at $5.54 per share. The company’s stock stood at about $7.80 late Monday before USEC reported its third quarter earnings, which showed a loss of $44.3 million and warned that American Centrifuge would need government support to continue into 2014.
