USACE Awards $90 Million in A-E Service Contracts

By ExchangeMonitor
The Army Corps of Engineers’ Kansas City District earlier this month awarded seven contracts totaling $90 million for its Architect-Engineer (A-E) Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) in the Corps’ Northwestern Region. The companies chosen include: AECOM Technical Services, ARCADIS U.S., CDM Federal Programs Corp., CH2M Hill, Ecology and Environment, HDR, O’Brien & Gere, and the Louis Berger Group (Domestic). The period of performance for each contract will include a base period of three years and one option period of two years, the Corps said.  A majority of the work is expected to be for Superfund projects in EPA Region 2, as well as projects in the USACE’s NW Division, according to the original solicitation. “Task orders will be issued as the need arises during the contract period. Task order assignments will be determined with consideration of each firm’s specialized experience and technical competence, professional qualifications, past performance, capacity, and knowledge of locality,” the Corps said.
