US ECOLOGY REPORTS ANOTHER STRONG QUARTER

By ExchangeMonitor
Following a strong second quarter, U.S. Ecology announced strong third quarter results with a quarterly record for operating income of $15.5 million, up 25 percent from the same quarter in 2012. "Our impressive top line performance combined with continued operational improvements and cost control drove record operating income and adjusted EBITDA for a second consecutive quarter," said Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Eric Gerratt
in a release. "Solid Treatment and Disposal revenue growth reflected continued strength in the commercial business sector, which more than offset expected softness in our government business.” Net income for the quarter was $10.3 million, up from a net income of $8.6 million in the same quarter of 2012 while adjusted EBITDA was a record $20.1 million, up 20 percent from $16.7 million in the same period of last year.
