URENCO USA NAMES NEW PRESIDENT AND CEO

By ExchangeMonitor
Uranium enrichment firm URENCO USA has appointed David Sexton as its new president and CEO, the company announced yesterday. Sexton will take over for Gregory OD Smith, who has been named the chairman of the URENCO UK Board and chief cultural officer for the URENCO Group starting Feb. 1. Sexton has been with URENCO USA since 2006 and is currently vice president for site projects. “I am proud to be named the President & CEO of URENCO USA,” Sexton said in a statement. “We have a project organization that is on schedule, on budget, and meets with regulatory approval as well as an operating company that strives to be both an industry leader and ideal corporate citizen. I plan to continue to build upon these successful aspects as our plant continues to mature.”
