U of Wyoming Seeking Director for Institute for Carbon Management

The University of Wyoming is now accepting applications for the position of director in the school’s Institute for Carbon Management (ICM), according to a notice issued by the school. The new director will fill the position currently being held by former National Energy Technology Laboratory Director Carl Bauer on an interim basis. According to the university, the new director will be tasked with the development of a “vision” for ICM and the subsequent implementation and management of a plan to reach that vision. Applicants are asked to submit a cover letter, resume and at least three work related references to Catherine Harris, Business Manager, Executive, School of Energy Resources, Department 3012, 1000 E. University Ave., Laramie, WY 82071 or email to [email protected].

Applications will be reviewed beginning Nov. 10. Applicants must have a post graduate degree in Engineering, Related Science and/or Economics together with further education or demonstrated ability in business management and organizational leadership.  Preference for Chemical Engineering, Physics or Materials Science; and more than 10 years of energy industry related experience or an equivalent.
