Trump Doesn’t Believe in Climate Change, Washington Post Staff Shudders

By ExchangeMonitor

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump does not believe in man-made climate change and the Washington Post is not impressed. The billionaire businessman sat down with the newspaper’s editorial board this week to discuss a host of issues, including violence at his rallies, libel laws, and race. When asked about climate change, he said, “I know it hurts me with this room, and I know it’s probably a killer with this room – but I am not a believer. Perhaps there’s a minor effect, but I’m not a big believer in man-made climate change.”

The answer, the group wrote later in an editorial, is one example of the candidate’s “breezy willingness to ignore facts and evidence.”

Trump also called out the President Barack Obama for labeling climate change the greatest threat to future generations. “The biggest risk to the world, to me – I know President Obama thought it was climate change – to me the biggest risk is nuclear weapons.”
