31: Meeting: The National Academies’ Nuclear and Radiation Studies Board holds two days of hybrid meetings starting at 10 a.m. Pacific Time on its review of the continued analysis of supplemental treatment of Low-Activity Waste at the Department of Energy’s Hanford Site. The sessions originate from the Courtyard Marriott on Columbia Point Drive in Richland, Wash.

02: Citizens for Nuclear Technology Awareness, Up & Atom Series breakfast with Frank Rose, principal deputy administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration, and William “Ike” White, senior advisor for DOE Environmental Management. NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
