12: House of Representatives, floor vote: Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. Lawmakers were scheduled to vote on the rebranded Build Back Better act, a signature package of healthcare and climate change policies that include funding for the DOE Office of Nuclear Energy and the nuclear power industry.

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
