12: The House Appropriations Committee Energy and Water Development Subcommittee holds its FY2022 Department of Energy budget markup. Remote access available here, starting at 1 p.m. Eastern time.

13: The House Energy and Commerce Committee is holding a Member Day hearing for members to bring new issues before the chair. Remote access available here, starting at 11 a.m. Eastern time.

14: The House Energy and Commerce Committee will hear from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on oversight issues. Chairman Christopher Hanson testifying. Remote access available here, starting at 9:45 a.m. Eastern time.

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
