17: Public meeting: Savannah River Citizens Advisory Board. 1:00 p.m. Eastern time.  University of South Carolina, Close-Hipp Building, 1705 College Street, Columbia, S.C. 29208. Streaming on YouTube.

17-18: Conference: The National Cleanup Workshop program, which runs for two days, starts at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time at the Marriott Crystal Gateway, 1700 Richmond Highway, Arlington, VA. 

17: Public meeting: The Portsmouth Site Specific Advisory Board meets in open session starting at 6 p.m. Eastern Time. The meeting is scheduled for Ohio State University, Endeavor Center, 1862 Shyville Road, Room 165, Piketon, Ohio 45661. 

19: Public meeting: The Paducah Site Specific Advisory Board meets in open session starting at 5:30 p.m. Central Time. The session will be held at West Kentucky Community and Technical College, Emerging Technology Center, Room 215, 5100 Alben Barkley Drive, Paducah, Kentucky 42001.

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
