Here are some events related to defense and civilian nuclear matters that Exchange Monitor staff are tracking this week.

31: Webinar, Energy Communities Alliance. “Cleanup to Clean Energy: How to Develop a Project on Federal Land.” Executives with the Washington-based group, representing the interests of localities near Department of Energy nuclear-weapon cleanup sites, will discuss DOE’s plan to develop sources of carbon-free and other energy on former nuclear-weapon sites. Those interested in attending should register online.

01: Earnings call: BWX Technologies will hold a conference call with analysts on its third quarter financial results at 5 p.m. Eastern Time. 

01: Meeting: Newport News Nuclear-BWXT Los Alamos and the Department of Energy hold a hybrid meeting on environmental cleanup starting at 5:30 p.m. Mountain Time from Fuller Lodge, 2132 Central Avenue, Los Alamos, New Mexico. 

02: Meeting: The Portsmouth Environmental Management Site-Specific Advisory board meets in public session starting at 6 p.m. at the Ohio State University, Endeavor Center, 1862 Shyville Road, Room 165, Piketon, OH 45661.

03: Earnings call: Fluor will hold its third quarter earnings call starting at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time.
