03: Conference: The Energy Technology and Environmental Business Association kicks off its three-day Business Opportunities and Technical Conference at the Knoxville Convention Center in Knoxville, Tenn. 

03: Meeting: The Department of Energy’s Waste Isolation Pilot Plant will host a hybrid public forum starting at 5:30 Mountain Time and originating from the Skeen-Whitlock Building in Carlsbad, N.M. 

04: Meeting: The Environmental Management Site-Specific Advisory Board chairs group kicks off a two-day meeting starting at 9 a.m. Eastern Time at the DoubleTree Hotel, 215 S Illinois Avenue, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. 

04: Virtual meeting: Department of Energy/National Science Foundation Nuclear Science Advisory Committee. 10:00 a.m. Eastern time to 4:00 p.m. Eastern time. NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
