11: Senate Armed Services Committee. Hearing to consider the nomination of Air Force Gen. Charles Q. Brown for reappointment to the grade of general and to be Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. 9:30 a.m. Dirksen SD-G50 and streamed on the committee’s website

11: House Rules Committee. Meeting to set floor-debate rules for and consider amendments to the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act. The bill sets policy and spending limits for defense programs, including nuclear-weapons programs at the National Nuclear Security Administration. The committee must approve debate rules before the full House can consider the bill. 12:00 p.m. Eastern time. H-313, The Capitol, Washington.

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
