TEXAS NAMES NEW RADWASTE CHIEF

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality announced late last week that Charles Maguire, currently the director of the agency’s Water Quality Division, will replace Susan Jablonski as the director of the Radioactive Materials Division as of May 1. Maguire joined TCEQ in 2006, and has served until now in the Water Quality Division. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration from Texas A&M University. Jablonski is being promoted to TCEQ Area Director after serving as director for Radioactive Materials since that division was created in 2007.
