TEMPLE MADE SRNS CONTRACTS MANAGEMENT VP

By ExchangeMonitor

Newport News Shipbuilding announced yesterday that it has appointed John Temple as vice president of contracts management for Savannah River Nuclear Solutions. Temple had previously served as director of contracts administration at SRNS, the Savannah River management-and-operations contractor comprised of Fluor, Honeywell and Newport News. In the last few months, the SRNS reporting structure was changed to have Temple report directly to SRNS President Dwayne Wilson as part of a management organization change, according to SRNS spokeswoman Barbara Smoak. Newport News President Matt Mulherin said in a statement, “John’s proven performance, expansive knowledge, and his more than 40 years of contracts experience and expertise will continue our effective management of the Savannah River Site and its critical mission.”
