Small biz wins $4.5M administrative support contract

By ExchangeMonitor

The Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management has awarded a $4.5-million small business contract to BluePath Labs for administrative support services, according to an online notice.

The set-aside indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract award was announced in a Thursday Aug. 22 notice in the System for Award Management.

BluePath is a disabled veteran-owned small business based in Washington, D.C., according to the notice. In 2018, BluePath inked a 5-year, $4-million contract with DOE Environmental Management. The new deal also has an ordering period of five years from Aug. 22, 2024, through Aug. 21, 2029, according to a DOE press release

BluePath was founded in 2016 by Dominic Ju and Joe Helfrich “to improve the identification, development, and application of disruptive technologies for US national interests,” according to the company’s website. In addition to contracts with other branches of DOE, BluePath also does business with the Air Force and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, according to the company website.
