By ExchangeMonitor

The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee is scheduled to address a slate of Department of Energy nominees this week. On Dec. 17, the committee is scheduled to vote on Steven Croley’s nomination to serve as DOE’s General Counsel and on Chris Smith’s nomination to serve as Assistant Secretary of Energy for Fossil Energy. Following the votes, the committee is set to hold a hearing to consider several other nominations, including Marc Kastner to serve as Director of DOE’s Office of Science; and Ellen Williams to serve as Director of the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy.  The nominee vote is scheduled to be held at 10 a.m. in Room 366 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building, with the hearing to consider other nominees to begin after the vote is completed.
