Senate committee to hold confirmation hearing for Trump’s secretary of energy pick

The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee will hold a hearing Wednesday to consider the nomination of Chris Wright for secretary of energy.

The hearing was scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Eastern time in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, room 366. The hearing will also be webcast live on the Energy and Natural Resources committee’s website.

Wright is the CEO and founder of Liberty energy, a Denver-based oilfield services company. He also sits on the board of Oklo, a company based in California that seeks to develop small modular reactors to deploy at the Department of Energy’s Idaho National Laboratory.
