S.M. Stoller Gets New Three-Month Extension for LM Support Contract

By ExchangeMonitor

S.M. Stoller (now a wholly owned subsidiary of Huntington Ingalls Industries) has received another extension to its current contract to provide support services for the Department of Energy’s Office of Legacy Management. Stoller’s latest extension is set to run for up to three months, through Dec. 31, and has an estimated value of $18.1 million, according to DOE. Stoller’s contract was initially set to expire in September 2012, but it has received a number of extensions while DOE has sought to compete and award the follow-on contract—a process with a schedule for completion that remains uncertain.
