By ExchangeMonitor

Perma-Fix Environmental Services has hired Troy Eshleman, who has more than 34 years of experience in managing radioactive waste and decommissioning projects, to the newly-created position of chief operating officer.

Eshleman was previously president of Oakleaf Environmental and held numerous senior management roles at EnergySolutions, Perma-Fix said in a Jan. 30 press release.

“We’re looking forward to having him on board to help us capitalize on new opportunities, strengthen our position with customers, and create more value for our shareholders,” said Perma-Fix CEO Mark Duff.

Perma-Fix is a Department of Energy contractor with environmental contracts at the Hanford Site in Washington state, the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico and elsewhere.
