PanTeXas Deterrence announced four key personnel who will lead management of the Pantex Plant alongside Kelly Beierschmitt, president of the BWX Technologies-led venture, the parent announced Tuesday.
The four other senior managers leading PanTeXas Deterrence are:
- Carl Beard, production operations director. Beard has five years of experience at the Pantex Plant and experience in pit production at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
- Scott Kennedy, as modernization and infrastructure director. Kennedy who 30 years experience at Pantex, Los Alamos and the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant.
- Tyfani Lanier as engineering director and chief engineer. Lanier has 16 years of experience at Pantex and 30 years of nuclear engineering and operations experience.
- Kristy McWilliams as safeguards, security, and emergency services director. McWilliams has 21 years of experience at Pantex and the Y-12 site.
PanTeXas Deterrence is a joint venture led by a BWX Technologies subsidiary with Fluor, the Texas A&M University System, and SOC, a Day & Zimmermann Company. Earlier this month, the team began its transition to manage the National Nuclear Security Administration weapons plant Pantex near Amarillo, Texas.
PanTeXas Deterrence also announced the launch of its website for tracking the transition that will last until mid-November.
