Nuclear Deterrence Summit to feature STRATCOM commander, other headliners

Arlington, Va. — Gen. Anthony Cotton, the commander of the U.S. Strategic Command is expected to give a fireside chat on the weapons complex during the annual Nuclear Deterrence Summit that begins Monday morning in Arlington, Va.

Cotton is one of many players in the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and the nuclear weapons enterprise that will speak at and attend the conference, which takes place Jan. 27-29.

Other speakers include Kim Budil, director of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory; Dennis Carr, president and CEO of Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, the Fluor-led prime contractor at Savannah River Site; Thom Mason, director of Los Alamos National Laboratory; Nicole Nelson-Jean, associate administrator of NNSA’s Office of Infrastructure; and others.
