NSTec President Joins Economic Development Group Board

By ExchangeMonitor

The president of the company that operates the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Nevada National Security Site has joined the Board of Directors of the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA), an economic development group covering southern Nevada.

Jim Holt became president of National Security Technologies (NSTec) in December of last year, leading its work at the site in national security experiments; tests and technology demonstrations; and homeland security, emergency response, and environmental management programs, according to an NNSA press release issued Monday.

Putting Holt on the board helps meet LVGEA’s goal of representing the broad swath of industry found in the region, the organization’s president, Jonas Peterson, said in the release.

NSTec is a partnership of Northrop Grumman, AECOM, CH2M, and BWX Technologies.
