NRC Schedules Public Meeting on Regulation

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has scheduled a public meeting on March 11 to gather input on improving public information for new or revised regulation.

Set for 1-5 p.m. at NRC headquarters in Rockville, Md., NRC staff will work to develop recommendations for the commission. The meeting will be held in room T2B3 at 11555 Rockville Pike in Rockville, Md. Staff has highlighted four area of interest:

  • Development of a single tool for the public to track rulemaking activities;
  • Consistency for rulemaking terms and definitions;
  • Public access to current rulemaking information; and
  • Revising the NRC website to reflect these changes.
