North Wind Solutions Gets 5-Year Support Services Contract at Portsmouth

The Energy Department has awarded Portsmouth Mission Alliance, a subsidiary of North Wind Solutions, a five-year, $139.7 million infrastructure support services contract at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant near Piketon, Ohio, the company said Saturday.

The host of services covered by the contract at the former uranium enrichment site, which is undergoing decontamination and decommissioning, includes surveillance, maintenance, and repair of facilities; pest control; fleet management; training services; and cybersecurity, according to a press release.

Portsmouth Mission Alliance team comprises North Wind Solutions, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Swift and Staley, of Kevil, Ky. North Wind is a subsidiary of Cook Inlet Region Inc., of Anchorage, Alaska.
