NNSA Hosting Another Virtual Job Fair

By ExchangeMonitor

The National Nuclear Security Administration has scheduled another virtual job fair, with the next in the series scheduled for Jan. 27, the semiautonomous Department of Energy nuclear weapons agency announced.

The agency said it has “more than 2,000 NNSA federal and contractor positions” to fill, “including engineers, policy experts, and physical scientists, throughout the country.”

Those interested in attending the virtual fair should apply online, the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).

The NNSA took its job fairs virtual last summer during the COVID-19 pandemic. The agency started hosting the affairs, in unclassified settings, early in the Donald Trump administration, taking out advertising on public transportation in Washington, D.C., and promoting the events on local radio, among other places.

A virtual job fair last summer, the agency’s third, drew about 1,500 online attendees, the NNSA said.
