Dallas-based Jacobs is hiring Venk Nathamuni, to be its new chief financial officer starting June 3, the international engineering and services company said in a press release.
Nathamuni, who has more than 15 years of senior financial and management experience, will replace interim chief financial officer (CFO) Kevin Berryman.
Berryman, a special adviser to Jacobs CEO Robert Pragada, stepped in as CFO temporarily after Claudia Jaramillo left Jacobs April 15 after less than a year on the job.
Jacobs subsequently revealed in a May 10 financial filing that Jaramillo’s departure was a “qualifying termination” under her agreement and she would receive a lump sum payment exceeding $1.55-million. Jaramillo’s annual base salary was $765,000.
Nathamuni, most recently CFO for semiconductor company Cirrus Logic, Austin, Texas, has also held manager jobs at J.P. Morgan, Synopsys, Synplicity and QuickLogic, Jacobs said in a May 16 press release.
Nathamuni, 57, will receive an annual base salary of $625,000 and will be covered by Jacobs management performance plan, “with an annual incentive target of 100% of his annual base salary,” according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Nathamuni and also be eligible for the company’s executive severance plan, according to the filing. Jacobs is in the process of spinning off its government contracting and cyber business that will combine with Amentum to form a new publicly-traded company.
