NDA RELEASES NEW MAGNOX COMPETITION DOCUMENTS

By ExchangeMonitor

The United Kingdom’s Nuclear Decommissioning Authority announced late last week that it is releasing a number of documents related to the upcoming competition of the Magnox and Research Sites Restoration Limited cleanup contracts. The NDA is making available its Magnox Plan Summary, a Long Range Graphic and NDA Commentary, as well as baselines related to the plans for the Harwell and Winfirth research reactors, which will be competed along with the Magnox contract. NDA will officially kick off the procurement process for the cleanup and management of the research reactors and 12 Magnox sites next month, when it will hold discussions with interested industry representatives at three U.K. locations, followed by an industry event this summer. Parties interested in the competition can request the latest round of documents by emailing [email protected]
