MARK LESINSKI TO LEAVE POSITION AS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OF UK’S NDA

By ExchangeMonitor

U.K. Nuclear Decommissioning Authority Chief Operating Officer Mark Lesinski announced Friday that he would be leaving his post at the NDA and returning to the United States for family reasons. Lesinski joined the NDA in 2010 from Magnox South Limited, owned and operated by EnergySolutions, and before that he worked on U.S. nuclear decommissioning projects.  “I do wish that personal circumstances would allow me to stay and continue to make progress during this critical phases of the clean-up effort,” Lesinski said in a statement. Lesinski has not yet announced when his last day will be. NDA CEO John Clarke said he was disappointed that Lesinski would be stepping down. “I would like to thank Mark for all his efforts. He has helped to move the NDA to a better understanding of performance across the estate, particularly in understanding project and programme challenges,” Clarke said in a statement.
