Here’s a look at the events we’ll be keeping an eye on this week:
- The U.K. Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee plans to hold a hearing today on Nuclear Decommissioning Progress at Sellafield, which will include testimony from Nuclear Decommissioning Authority Chief Executive John Clarke.
- USEC plans to hold its third quarter earnings call with investors at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
- URS is set to hold a call with investors to discuss its third quarter 2013 earnings on Tuesday, Nov. 5
- A federal appeals court is scheduled to hold a hearing on former Hanford Waste Treatment Plant executive Walter Tamosaitis’ suit against URS and the Department of Energy on Thursday, Nov. 7.
NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
