The consulting firm Longenecker & Associates has named James Turi as its new Vice President for Science and Technology programs, effective yesterday. Turi joined L&A in May 2010, and before then served as manager of the Department of Energy’s site office at the Jefferson Lab. He replaces Milton Johnson, who has become Vice President Emeritus, according to a company release. “Jim is a great professional with an impressive track record, and we are honored to have him as part of our senior management team,” L&A President John Longenecker said in the release, adding, “Jim will follow in the footsteps of Milt Johnson who will become a Vice President Emeritus, allowing him time to pursue his goal of succeeding in semi-retirement. Our team recognizes and appreciates the great contributions Milt made during the past 8 years, and he will continue to be a key part of our team.”
