Earnings season is in full swing again, and defense industry mega-contractor Lockheed Martin is scheduled to roll out its second-quarter numbers on Tuesday.
The company’s earnings call and webcast is scheduled for 11 a.m. Eastern time.
Lockheed recorded $11.1 billion in net sales and $763 million in net earnings from continuing operations in the first quarter of 2017. Sales were up on a year-over-year basis from $10.4 billion, but net earnings dropped from $806 million. The last earnings report was issued in late April, just days before Lockheed turned over management of the Department of Energy’s Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico to a Honeywell subsidiary.
