LATA NAMES DUFF AS NEW VP

Mark Duff has been named a new corporate vice president at Los Alamos Technical Associates, Inc., the company announced this week. Last June, Duff took over as head of LATA Environmental Services of Kentucky, LLC, which performs cleanup work at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant, but technically remained an employee of site subcontractor of B&W. In his new position, Duff’s “primary responsibility will continue to be management of the Paducah project. In addition, he will participate in development of corporate business strategy as a member of LATA’s executive management team, according to a company release. Prior to serving as Project Manager for LATA Environmental Services of Kentucky, Duff served as director of Environmental Management Operations for B&W Y-12, LLC. and previously held the positions of president of Safety and Ecology Corp. and vice president for Science Applications International Corp.
