LANL LOOKING AT CONTRACT TO IMPLEMENT NATURAL RESOURCES PLAN

By ExchangeMonitor

The Department of Energy is looking for small businesses interested in supporting implementation of a Natural Resources Damages Assessment plan for Los Alamos National Laboratory, posting a request for information late last week. “The Contractor shall assist the Trustee Council with developing a NRDA for injuries to natural resources from releases of hazardous substances from LANL,” states a draft performance of work statement. “To meet the Objectives and Goals set forth above, the Contractor shall utilize the work already completed for Trustee Council, including the final LANL Assessment Plan. The draft Assessment Plan is expected to be ready for public comment in the fall of 2013.” Interested companies must meet a small business size standard of 500 employees. Responses are due on Nov. 12.
