LANL EXTENDS LOCUS TECHNOLOGIES’ ENVIRONMENTAL DATA CONTRACT

By ExchangeMonitor

Los Alamos National Laboratory has extended for four years Locus Technologies’ contract to manage the Lab’s environmental data and information, Locus announced yesterday. The company has managed the data at the Lab since 2011 using its Environmental Information Management software. “We look forward to continuing to work with the team of talented professionals at LANL, and also continuing to assist DOE sites with their environmental data management challenges,” Locus CEO Neno Duplan said in a statement.

The extension included several modifications, including “functionality for air data management and reporting that involves better flexibility for increased data transparency,” according to a Locus release. “LANL also will put more focus on field and mobile devices, and significant enhancements will be made to Intellus New Mexico, the public-facing website that Locus created for LANL’s data.”
