Honeywell rebranding business segments

By ExchangeMonitor

Honeywell, parent of the management contractors of four Department of Energy sites, is reorganizing its main business units, the company announced Monday.

The Charlotte, N.C.-based company will continue with four segments, according to a Monday press release.

These are: Aerospace Technologies, to be led by incumbent Jim Currier; Industrial Automation, to be led by Lucian Boldea; Building Automation, to be led by incumbent Billal Hammoud; and Energy and Sustainability Solutions, to be led by Ken West.

The old segments were: Aerospace; Honeywell Building Technologies; Performance Materials and Technologies; and Safety and Productivity Solutions. Honeywell also previously had a Corporate and All Other segment that included revenue from the company’s majority stake in quantum computing company Quantinuum.

Honeywell is the sole or lead partner on the management and operations contractors for the Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration’s Kansas City National Security Complex, Nevada National Security Site and Sandia National Laboratories.

The company is also a junior partner on United Cleanup of Oak Ridge, the cleanup contractor for DOE’s Office of Environmental Management at the Oak Ridge site.
