Hill AFB to Host GBSD Industry Day in Sept.

By ExchangeMonitor
Hill AFB, Utah, will host an industry day for the Air Force’s Ground-Based Strategic Deterrent acquisition program from Sept. 24 to 25, according to an Aug. 20 FedBizOpps posting. The GBSD Program Management Office (PMO) intends to hold a more “in-depth technical discussion,”  and provide acquisition updates since the last industry day in February. This will be the third GBSD industry day. “The GBSD Program Management Office continues to encourage open and frequent communication from industry during the ongoing market research phase. The PMO expects to release another round of RFI questions in August,”  the posting states. The Air Force plans to release a draft capabilities development document, draft force development concept, draft weapon system specification, and draft statement of work after the industry day. The Air Force did not respond to a Weapons Complex Morning Briefing request for comment.
