Hanford Vet Named Tank Farms Project Assistant Manager

Glyn Trenchard has been named assistant manager of the Hanford Site Tank Farms Project for the Department of Energy Office of River Protection. He will oversee the storage, treatment, and disposal of 56 million gallons of waste stored in underground tanks starting Aug. 6.

Trenchard joined the Office of River Protection in 1998 and has more than 29 years of experience in the nuclear field. For the past five years he has served as deputy assistant manager for the Tank Farms Project. Previously, he was director of the Tank Farms Programs and Projects Division. He also has worked for the Richland Operations Office at Hanford.
