Hanford Budget Public Meeting Set for March 15

The annual Hanford Site budget public meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. March 15 at the Richland, Wash., Public Library. The meeting to discuss fiscal 2018 cleanup priorities for the budget proposal is planned by the Tri-Party agencies – the Department of Energy, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Washington state Department of Ecology. DOE will provide an overview of cleanup planned for fiscal 2017 in addition to discussing fiscal 2018 priorities. The regulatory agencies will provide their perspectives and questions will be answered before a public comment session. The meeting may be attended via webinar.
