GOTTEMOELLER TO VISIT MOSCOW FOR ARMS CONTROL DISCUSSIONS

State Department arms control chief Rose Gottemoeller is headed to Europe today for a two-week trip focused on nonproliferation, including talks in Moscow Sept. 7-8. Gottemoeller, the acting Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security, will also visit Geneva, Helsinki, Oslo, and The Hague before heading to Moscow for meetings with senior officials at Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She’ll also deliver the keynote address at the 2012 Moscow Nonproliferation Conference.
