GAO DISMISSES PROTEST OVER DOE-RL BUSINESS SERVICES BPAs

By ExchangeMonitor

The Government Accountability Office has dismissed a protest filed over the Department of Energy Richland Operations Office’s award of two blanket purchase agreements for business support services to Corporate Allocations Services, Inc., and Longenecker & Associates, Inc. The protest was filed in late July by Interactive Technology Group, Inc., and it remains unclear whether DOE has chosen to take corrective action in the procurement. The Richland Operations Office did not respond to a request for comment as of press time. The new BPAs are set to run for up to five years, consisting of a three-year base period and two one-year option periods. Services to be provided include graphics, QA Support, EEOICPA claims processing support, legal assistant support, move facility support, management analyst support, project management support, nuclear safety support, estimating support, and technical expertise support in various areas, according to DOE.
