FORMER PARSONS EXEC. TO HEARD FLUOR GOVT. GROUP BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

By ExchangeMonitor

Fluor has named William Bodie as its new Senior Vice President for Business Development in the company’s Government Group. Bodie last served as executive vice president and global business development manager for Parsons Government Services, and previously served as senior vice president and manager of Parsons’ National Security & Defense Division and as president and lead executive of KBR’s North American Government & Defense business unit, among other positions. He replaces Ken Smith, who has recently been moved to lead Business Development & Sales functions for Fluor’s Global Services Group, according to a company spokesman. “Bill is known and respected within both the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy as an innovator and forward thinker,” Fluor Government Group President Bruce Stanski said in an release issued yesterday. “He understands our customers, their challenges and what they need to achieve success. Bill will be integral to our efforts to develop solutions that deliver even greater value and cost savings to our customers across the government."
