Retired Navy Vice Admiral Fritz Roegge is the new president of Holtec’s government services subsidiary, the company announced Monday in a press release dominated by new hires for the Campden, N.J., company’s financial team.
Now leading the finance silo is Kevin O’Rourke, the new vice president and chief financial officer. He replaces David LaRosa, who left Holtec in March.
Roegge, meanwhile, will oversee Holtec’s nuclear services company’s business line that “provides high technology-content goods and services to U.S. government entities,” according to the press release. Roegge is also serving as a senior vice president and chief strategy officer at Holtec, helping the company’s executive committee expand its business, the press release said.
Before joining Holtec, Roegge was president of the National Defense University in Washington. He also served as head of the Navy’s Submarine and Nuclear Power Distribution Division. Prior to that, he served on the staffs of both the Atlantic and Pacific submarine force commanders as well as in the office of the director of naval nuclear propulsion.
Roegge has master’s degrees from both the Naval War College and the Catholic University of America. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota.
Also joining Holtec, according to Monday’s presser, are: Ronald Gillett as chief accounting officer and Chris Ciabattone as corporate controller.
