FLUOR-B&W PORTSMOUTH MAKES CARR APPOINTMENT OFFICIAL

By ExchangeMonitor

Dennis Carr, as widely expected, has been officially tapped as the new head of Fluor-B&W Portsmouth, LLC, effective Aug. 18. Carr, who currently serves as deputy program manager, will replace Jamie Jameson as Program Manager as Jameson’s initial two-year commitment comes to an end. Carr has also previously held senior management positions at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, the managing contractor for the Savannah River Site; and Fluor Fernald, which was responsible for the cleanup of the Fernald site in Ohio. “Dennis has been an invaluable resource as we moved through transition and into the initial phase of work getting underway,” Jameson said in a message to FBP employees yesterday. “Under Dennis’s very capable leadership, Fluor-B&W will continue to succeed in deploying projects to remediate the outdated facilities safely and carry out our mission of decontamination and decommissioning (D&D) and cleaning up the site.”
