Final RFP issued for DOE cleanup consolidated tech support contract

By ExchangeMonitor

The Department of Energy nuclear cleanup branch has issued its final solicitation for a five-year, potential $90-million Consolidated Technical Support Services contract for field offices and sub- offices.

The final request for proposals (RFP) for the small business set-aside contract was published Thursday June 6 in the government’s online System for Award Management (SAM.gov), by DOE’s Office of Environmental Management. The size standard for the set-aside procurement is 1,000 employees, according to the notice.

According to a DOE Environmental Management press release, the office is looking for a wide range of technical services to support tank waste cleanup, safety management, regulatory compliance and stakeholder programs. The department rolled out its draft RFP in March.

The incumbent contract is held by Catawba-TEA and has a maximum value of $25 million. The current agreement runs from December 2022 through Dec. 21, 2024.

According to the notice, questions about the final RFP should be emailed, using the formal DOE template, by close of business on Thursday June 13 to [email protected].

Prospective offerors should submit their actual bid proposals by 3 p.m. eastern time on Aug. 1, according to the notice.
